yogurt parfait

I have fallen in love with yogurt parfaits. I've been having them for breakfast. I throw in some yogurt, granola and some frozen berries. Mmmm.... They're really quick and super easy to make. They are delicious!

a little experimenting

I pulled out my sketch books, charcoals, markers and chalks. I've been doing a little experimenting. I've never used charcoals before, so I've just been winging it. I want to take an art class sometime to learn more.

a little vase

I found this cute little jar and I just had to do something with it. I cut a small flower to put in it, but it still needed something else. I found a small strip of fabric and tied it around the vase. It seemed to do the trick.

diy {pencil holder}

For the last couple months I've had a plain holder on my desk. I decided to make something a little cuter. I got a half pint canning jar. I would have used a pint jar, but we didn't have any. I then cut some strips of fabric to wrap around the jar. I wrapped them around and tied them off tight so they wouldn't fall off. If I was doing it again I would have hot glued them because I don't like the way the knots look. I also tied a little rick rack around the jar. I love the look!
