Craving Something Sweet

We were craving something sweet today, so we decided to make a batch of oatmeal cookies. If you're craving something sweet too, here's the recipe.

2 cups of butter or real margarine (I substitute half of the needed butter for apple sauce. It doesn't affect the taste at all, but it makes it a lot healthier.)
2cups of brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
2 tablespoons vanilla
5-6 cups of flour
3 cups of oatmeal
1 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 cup of butterscotch chips
1 bag of chocolate chips
1/2 cup of peanut butter chips



Soften the margarine, then cream it with the sugars.
Add all of the other ingredients after you have creamed the margarine and sugars.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
*note: You can use any combination of chocolate, peanut butter or butterscotch chips.
