diy {pencil holder}

For the last couple months I've had a plain holder on my desk. I decided to make something a little cuter. I got a half pint canning jar. I would have used a pint jar, but we didn't have any. I then cut some strips of fabric to wrap around the jar. I wrapped them around and tied them off tight so they wouldn't fall off. If I was doing it again I would have hot glued them because I don't like the way the knots look. I also tied a little rick rack around the jar. I love the look!
